You Don’t Need to Be an Athlete to Train Like One (But you can be)

Led by 8-year CFL veteran Matt Sheridan, this 4-week training series combines proper movement prep with essential compound lifts to build strength, improve mobility, and reduce injury risk, whether you're an athlete or just want to move and feel better.
Matt brings 20+ years of coaching experience and a foundation built on safety, effectiveness, and performance. With over a decade in professional football and years of training youth across Western Canada, he knows how to meet individuals where they’re at and help them level up.
A proper warm-up for an activity is crucial for optimal performance and injury prevention. Outdated
Concepts like static stretching prior to competition went out the window decades ago – come
learn how to prepare and stay healthy properly.
The recruitment of multiple joints and muscle groups defines compound movements. These exercises represent the basis of almost all human movement & performance. Safely executing them is paramount to your success and health, whether you’re an athlete or not.
Program Schedule
Tuesdays – June 3, 10, 17, 24
5:00–5:45 PM — Athletic Preparation (All Ages)
6:00–7:00 PM — Lifting 1.0 (Squat & Bench) – Senior (15+)
Thursdays – June 5, 12, 19, 26
5:00–5:45 PM — Athletic Preparation (All Ages)
6:00–7:00 PM — Lifting 2.0 (Deadlift & Overhead Press) – Senior (15+)
Program Cost
Athletic Preparation: $25/session (2x/week for 4 weeks = $200)
Lifting 1.0 or 2.0: $40/session (2x/week for 4 weeks = $320)
Comprehensive Package (Prep + Lifting): $450
